I'm Alive! A.K.A. Life Updates

Erm, hi guys
Sorry I've been gone for a while... I've been lurking around faving stuff but not talking much. Just have a lot going on at the moment

As far as the job goes, I've been there almost a whole month, and it's actually going really well. You guys would not believe how much less stressful it is at this place. It's WAY less busy than the last place I worked at, so that's a huge plus. The people I work with are super nice. They have some crazy customers here, but I've dealt with enough of them at the last place to handle it I think And The girl I was hired to replace is leaving next week, so I have big shoes to fill. I'm paid more here, and something I didn't know until recently is that when this girl leaves, I'll be taking her place as the lead technician. Which means I'm sort of in charge of the other techs, and I'll handle doing the order every night (once they train me to do it) and just basically being the pharmacist's right hand and making sure everything in the pharmacy is running smoothly. Which actually really scares me because I've never ever been in any position of authority AT ALL. At my last job, I was at the very bottom... so this is WAY out of my comfort zone. But my boss seems to believe in me and I think I can do it... I think...

But anyways!
My schedule is also much more stable too. Whereas at my last job I didn't know what I was working the next week until SATURDAY, at this place we get our schedule a month at a time. So it's much easier to plan things. And since my training is almost done, starting in May I basically work from Mon-Fri 9-5 ish, with some 2-8's thrown in. So my only days off will be Saturday and Sundays. Of course getting home at 5:30 or 6 as opposed to 9:30 like I used to, I'll have lots more time to relax and draw and write and stuff at home. It's just here lately with all the changes and some family issues I've just felt too exhausted when I get home to do much of anything other than shower and eat and go to bed But once I get in the groove of things it'll be better ^^

Art-wise, I've been slacking... I was doing a 365 day challenge thingy on Facebook where I make a sketch every day... but yeah, I'm kinda like 20 days behind on it now so don't know if I'll ever catch up But I have a few little sketches from that that I plan to turn into finished works. Someday I'm also thinking of doing commissions soon... not sure when, but it's been on my mind for a while because I could use some extra cash... But I'll let you know if I do decide to do it
