We arrived shortly at the house next door, and the Inspector rapped on the door. Upon receiving no answer, he turned the knob and found it unlocked. The door groaned as it slowly creaked back on it hinges, and Hawkins cautiously lifted his lantern to illuminate the scene inside.

The four of us stepped into an empty house. It was apparent that it had been vacant for years; white sheets were draped upon what little furniture remained, most of the windows were boarded up, wallpaper peeled from the wall in strips, and the wood had rotted in some places, leaving gap

Haha guess what? It's another pic to go along with this one [link] for my short story Echoes in the Night !

This is like a world record for me!

So this image came into head, and it's basically what I would have done if I could have caught up to Basil. I was afraid I made myself look almost like a kid, but I'm short

Sherlock Holmes was 6 ft tall, and Basil was quite tall himself, so by that standard, I'm 8 inches shorter than him!

Thanks! Well, not LOVE love _{since he's a fictional character}

But yeah, he's been my favorite animated character since I was a kid and he was my introduction to Sherlock Holmes, so in a way I do love him

I wish you caught up with him, if it was me, I'd be so frustrated by not catching up to him I'd throw something--mostly a blunt object of some kind and probably break something haha xD;; But, I still like the pic nonetheless~
