Well, I was gonna wait since I just uploaded page 1, but I'm just too darn excited!

So here he is, Basil of Baker Street, the Great Mouse Detective himself!

Um, I hope I made it clear what he's doing. If not, he's supposed to be walking home thinking about a case he's working on, and he pulls out a piece of evidence from his pocket to examine it again. You'll find out later what it is

So, did I go a little heavy with the shadows? That's something I been trying to work on too.

And WHY must it be so hard to get Basil's frontal view right?! All I can say is I have a newfound respect for those animators

EDIT: I added some text to show Basil's thoughts on this page and the previous page, and I also toned down the colors on the paper because it was a bit glaring on the eyes

EDIT #2: Sorry guys, but I think I've decided to discontinue this comic as I'm currently busy working on "Echoes in the Night." BUT I am turning this into a fic called "A Tangled Web," so I will continue the story

Aw, thanks so much. I took a temporary break from it to finish another story I was working on, but it's almost finished so hopefully I can start back on this comic again soon
