And at last, it's finally finished I can finally cross one fic off of my list

OMG FIGHT SCENES This chapter took so long to get just right, I really hope it turned out ok because this is my favorite part and I really wanted it to be perfect. I'm personally not entirely happy with the ending, but I hope I wrapped up everything ok. There's still a few loose ends to tie up, but they'll be taken care of in the epilogue.

Just a few notes I feel like I need to point out:
Fane's dialogue in some places (the two short monologues he has right before the real fight and when he's holding Basil) are inspired by lines from the Dracula novel by Bram Stoker. I drew a lot of inspiration from the original Dracula for Fane's character so it seemed fitting ^^
Maria actually made an appearance in Chapter 15, and the slave (his name is also Damien, but Fane calls him Ferka to make fun of him) that Fane used as a live shield made an appearance in Chapter 16.
Pay VERY close attention to Damien Talbot (not the slave, the smug sarcastic guy) in this chapter... he's been a minor character so far but he'll play a much bigger role later... and that's all I'm gonna say because SPOILERS
