An hour later, Dawson and Basil met Inspector Thomas Grayson of Scotland Yard at the scene of the crime while Miss Abby awaited downstairs. The doctor and the inspector looked on as Basil examined the room in his systematic way. Grayson still thought the detectives ways to be quite eccentric, and although they had butted heads with each other in the past, the inspector welcomed any help the amateur detective could give to the Yard.

Chapter 3: A New Case

Over the next few days, whenever they ventured outside, Basil and Dawson kept a watchful eye out for the Frenchmouse. However, several weeks passed, and he wasn't seen again. But the two had learned from experience to never let their guard down.

One early October morning, Dawson had just finished a delicious breakfast and had settled into his chair to read the newspaper. Some more sketches of upcoming scenes of my GMD fic "Echoes in my Mind." :D Top left is my OC Amber. She's not praying, just kneeling. Beside that is a scene where Amber has another dream that Ratigan is a vampire :fear: On the right is Amber and Basil (who continues to be very OOC :XD: ) Y'all might remember that little scene I wrote as a preview in this journal entry? [link] Well that's it :D To the far left is Ratigan dancing with Amber... who actually appears to be enjoying it :nuu: Haha I know he should probably be much bigger, but I didn't have enough room :XD: Then on the bottom right is my other OC Fane cel Rau battling with Ratigan. Hey, a clash like this is bound to happen between two such devious villains :D

1) I REALLY thought Amber was praying XD But GOSH, she is so peaceful and beautiful in this pic :heart:

Handsome, at the same time beautiful... and scarying !

3) SO ROMANTIIIIC, with the full moon, the white dress, the look, the pose, KYAAAAAAAAAAAAH :heart: :heart: :heart:

4) The dance part is my favourite, I just love their happy faces (OH MY GOD, Amber appreciates it......... WHO WOULD NOT ??!!). And he looks so tall... and dark :drool: ...

Seriously, Ratigan is just HOT, and Fane is NOT BAD AT ALL, too :drool: ...

Haha I didn't realize until I was coloring it that she looks like she's praying! :XD: She's really supposed to be bowing or kneeling in front of someone... Ratigan or Fane probably ;)
