Been working on my fic "A Tangled Web" here lately, so I wanted to draw a few scenes to help me come up with ideas. Eh, I was gonna shade all the sketches, but got tired of it, so :XD:

Ok, Basil looks kinda mean in that one on the top left... he's getting a little frustrated with Charlotte because she's been avoiding his questions and acting suspicious. He's probably questioning her a little more hard than he should be, which is probably why she's got her fist balled up and ready to punch his lights out :XD:
Then under that is where they first meet in the fic. They were childhood friends, and it's been years since they've seen each other, so they're happy to meet again.
The one of Basil beside that is probably one of my favorite drawings I've ever made of him. He looks so sweet! Which is OOC for him I know, but in this fic, he's a lot younger and has just started gaining a reputation as the great mouse detective, so he's a bit naive at first. But by the time this fic is over, he'll become much more reserved and cautious. And I didn't draw his hands because I was too lazy... ^^;
Then the pic in the bottom right is of Charlotte saying goodbye, or rather goodnight, to him. Kind of a reference to Irene Adler there ;)

I watched you work on this piece on your livestream and I'm envious, lol, I wish I can photoshop on my artwork. Anyway, I love how you drawn Basil and your OC Charlotte and I can't wait to read your upcoming story "A Tangled Web", but I want to read more of "Echoes in My Mind". Keep up the good work.
